Making a Difference
Imam ash-Shafii Centre (ISC) was born out of the desire to build strong leaders of the future. That starts with education, and we aspire to provide a high standard of Islamic teaching.
Programs & Services
Here are the programs and services open to the communities we serve
Guided Learning
Offering lectures, courses and workshops relating on the Islamic sciences and Arabic language training to the general public.
Workshops
Educational workshops on informative subjects including finance, health, relationships, and career.
Children & Youth
After-school programming for children and youth as well as other recreational and social services.
Recreation
General physical fitness by providing public sport, fitness and recreational programs.
Place of Worship & Learning
Our space offers the 5-daily prayers as well as classes for studying.
Mental Health
We support those in need with access to related counselling, information, or group support programs
Counselling Support
We offer this service for individuals and families in need of support.
Settlement Support
We work on supporting families in settling into Ottawa.
